Adapting Music to Books

It goes without saying that this would be a slippery adaption since once again, the most obvious way to adapt such a medium to this medium is to copy a song, note-by-note onto paper whether it be lyrics or melody.

Right now a more recent demonstration of this is famous Videogame composer, Grant Kirkhope, who while working on the Mario and Rabbids game had done this with on of the original Super Mario pieces:

However a fantastic adaption could be the articles people write that are the interpretations of the songs meanings.
