Adapting TV to Music

This sort of adaption is a kinda gray area because songs from shows could count or songs made after could count also.

The first two examples that come to mind are the Lazy Town show:

Which are songs specifically of what happens in the program or songs from old Video game Cartoons such as the Super Mario Land show and Sonic Underground (which I'll surely bring up again a month from now) that only just fit the context.

However another alternative are songs based on the show itself. A band I've come across is known as Chameleon Circuit which is named after the broken technobabble inside the TARDIS. They do Doctor Who songs if that wasn't apparent enough.

But that's about the end of it. You can only really make songs on the story summary of a show or its episodes. Not much else to adapt and since this is a 2-5 minute song then it'll be over before you explain everything there is. No room for being entirely faithful if there is no time to even misrepresent it.

However music genre is the only part of this which I'd recommend studying before writing the song. I don't think deathcore works quite well for Doctor Who.
