Adapting Cartoons to Radio

I... I have nothin'...
I can't think of an example although if there were one then it'd probably be a Loony Tunes comedy with more focus on its writing and jokes than its slapstick (for obvious reasons).
However I'd like to use a particular episode of Adventure Time, which happens to be a personal favourite of mine, as an example, although technically an example of Radio in Cartoons in this scenario, to set up what could be a loose example for this kind of adaption:
JAKE THE BRICK: Season 6, Episode 20
For obvious reasons I can't show the video, *Ahem* Link Wink, Imudge Nudge *Cough*.
But what this episode basically is is a radio nature documentary live broadcasted over the land of Ooo through a walkie talkie left in front of Jake while he describes what he sees while waiting for a shack to collapse with him inside the wall morphed into a brick.
It's peaceful and much like the listeners were when listening quietly, I was in awe of how well written Jake was in this episode compared to the usual bombastic nature of the cast.
It's a tranquil break from that wacky world and one uses that break wisely to build up the little parts of this world through describing a natural scenario involving the wildlife. Regular wildlife that is (barring the SeaLard) which already receives so little screentime compared to the DnD style monsters.
Although I'd like to show off a great example of a Cartoon getting an Audiobook, I couldn't find one easily and, frankly, I really wanted to talk a little bit about this episode which remains my favourite in the series.
