There are plenty of documentaries about bands and the stories behind certain songs. Here's an example which will take you almost an hour to finish:

Another example would be Top of the Pops. famous for being the starting point of many groups' popularity

And the most common example of all, music videos. There are alot of examples of this but the very first music video is still up to debate whether it would is indeed Bohemian Rhapsody, a music video made because they couldn't attend Top of the Pops at the time and didn't want someone else to replace them.
