Adapting Music to Movies

Still too simple.
A most likely way of adapting a song into a movie is just to retell the story of whatever the song is about. This was done in the Beatles classic: Yellow Submarine
But another famous band of aroundish the time, The Who, made a movie with their music in it as well. Quarophenia:
