Adapting Books to Cartoons

Everything I said for the Book to TV adaptations still stands here except there are some key differences. Like the fact everything's now animated.

'Howl's moving castle' is an anime adaptation of the book by Diana Wynne Jones under the same name.

The past 4 Chapters have mostly just been covering stories written in a more modern or human aesthetic. Whether Sci-Fi or not doesn't matter if it includes technology which is strictly modern and futuristic as well as man made or made by beings from beyond the stars. A bit too Scientific for me after everything we've looked at so far.

'Howl's Moving castle' is about Howl's moving castle. That's pretty much it other than the war, other flying machines and old lady spells. Being animated, anything's possible no matter what effect they're using compared how much it would cost to add that effect to a live-action series.

Here comes another hitch in this problem. The ever-so-familiar:

Fantasy is especially problematic since it's not so binary and accurately shaped like machines are in Sci-Fi book adaptions. Fantasy stuff includes spells, mystical fauna, usually castles and every character type from Mages to Knights.

This makes things particularly difficult as everybody, whether they've read 'Howl's moving castle' or not has their own idea on what magic and the castle itself will look like as they are not held back by any cultural connections like how Egyptian Hieroglyphs in a story will have to still be Egyptian Hieroglyphs in its adaptation.
