Adapting Comic Books to Video Games

This is a Chapter I've been anticipating for a bit because of one game and one Comic Book series. 'The Walking Dead'.

Yes, they made the Comic Book series into a Video Game and they did a pretty good job at it as well.

I did get around to watching a playthrough of the game with Pewdiepie regrettably. My preference would be Markiplier but I guess I'll go with it. The game looks like a comic because of a special effect called 'cell-shading'.

This effect is also known to be used in the Borderlands series as well.

I should probably start writing some actual paragraphs rather than a collage of images with periodical sentences inbetween.

I'm talking specifically about the Telltale series which (according to the Wikia site on the Walking Dead) is based off the comics story. I'm bringing this up because the Walking Dead Wikia also lists other games based on the series and even games based on the TV show based on the Comic series!

In case nobody could tell what I meant by 'Cell-shading' earlier (which frankly doesn't make sense. It's the only thing in the 2 images I showed off that looks different to every other game) it's the appearance of all those lines around objects and small details like pocket lining or a nose. This effect makes the whole game much more reminiscent to the comics by having these thick, black outlines to define each feature.

Something I wanted to say before continuing is after talking excessively about Batman in the last post I want to avoid talking about any and all Batman games (Like the Arkham series for example) all together!
