Adapting Radio to Movie

This has an example but not very much more than that.

This movie was about King George the 6th getting on with a speech therapist to help him sound more like a leader and become more confident (as well as get rid of a stutter). This eventually led to King George addressing the UK over radio with his famous speech. I caught the end of the movie when I walked into the living room so I wasn't there for the long run. Although saying that I think his famous speech was about the war? World War something.
Of course it made sense to include an actual video of one of his speeches
There probably is another example of this happening but this was the closest I could get by myself. It also does the most difficult part of adapting just a voice on a radio into something visual. What it looks like in the studio aside, you need someone with excellent voice acting to replicate a voice. Especially if that voice is the main focus.
It doesn't matter in the scenario of 'The King's Speech' that the story was about the King warming up for the concluding broadcast. So long as it was in it and the story of the movie was about the broadcast itself. I'd go as far to say that currently 'The King's Speech' is the best Radio to Movie adaptation to date!
