A tricky adaption but not impossible.
Upon further research I found that some games utilise audio like radios do purely as a gameplay platform rather than just one of many mechanics.
What I mean is that there's a difference between an audio orientated game like:
'Comedy Night'
All about performing to an online audience doing whatever you will.
And a Mario Party minigame where you mimic a sound or voice:
Although 'Comedy Night' isn't all about radio, podcasts or anything similar, it is based entirely on what you say and the reactions you get which fits the bill better than say, a platform game where you collect microphones as a form of currency to advance with until you reach the recording booth only to find that a robot with speakers for ears and jack plugs for fingers has taken over and thus you have to beat it with... Okay, my "creative" train has hit a dead end but I don't really need to continue.
