Adapting Music to Radio

I've have noticed by now that I haven't been doing much talking about what it would take to adapt one into the other.
Frankly, it's hard with anything based purely on audio. The most you could do is adapt the story or meaning behind a song into a medium or the band themselves.
Another way is of course just copying what's being sung or played onto a manuscript.
Unfortunately this particular adaption is even harder.
In the context of this series, Radio is referring to anything comprised of only audio, much like Music except it's only podcasts and radio shows.
No songs.
Saying this, the best adaption I can follow up with is any interview with the band members on radio.
But I think I could do better this time.
Coming up to the release of Gorillaz album, Plastic Beach, Murdoc (green guy) took over some radio stations for a segment referred to as 'Pirate Radio'. In character and all.
