Adapting TV to Books

TV shows to books is very much the exact opposite situation.

Rather than being very conscience about how to represent what's only been described in text to an image, it's a case of carefully describing what is happening.

Of course there are two ways of doing this. Adapting a full episode that already exists into a book or writing something completely new based off of a currently existing TV show. An example I'll use is a book I owned myself all the way in primary school that I never read =)

As previously stated I did not read this novel and so have no idea how faithful it is to the original material. But since this is a book and not the show, I'd expect the story to run on alot longer than a one episode time slot.
